All movements are hydraulic

All the machine's movements are controlled by a high-efficiency motor pump unit located in the oil tank and easily inspected.

Pneumatic safety gate

Pneumatic drive for opening and closing the mould protection gate (Standard and “V” Table versions).

Standard machine plans

The machine's design allows for quick and easy assembly. In some cases, with minor modifications, existing molds can be used.

Movements

The press is governed by two microprocessors that monitor and manage the movements, times and temperatures of the production cycle.

Proportional Hydraulics

Thanks to proportional hydraulics, the pressures during the cycle phases are managed and stored by the

machine.

Maximum security

CE certification.

Mold safety

Approaching in low pressure.

Color Touch Screen Display

USB output and Ethernet connection (Modbus TCP)

Cooling Management

The flow rate of the coolant at various points in the press, including the mold, can be adjusted using a flow meter. For mold temperatures up to 90°C, a specific Babyplast thermoregulator is available (only 0.7 kW).

Heating the mold or hot chamber

For mold temperatures up to 200°C, the machine has two 230V heating zones for the mold or hot runner. To condition the mold, you can insert cartridge heaters and control their heating in % or °C (using thermocouples), or you can use a nozzle or hot runner, managing their heating directly from the machine.

Injection possible in three different positions

The injection group, positioned horizontally, has three injection positions (45mm, 70mm and 95mm) with respect to the lower machine plane.

Advantages

  • Reduced cost of the printed product, even for small production batches

The machine, with only 3 kW of installed power and a lower purchase price than conventional machines, allows for the production of parts with few-cavity molds (low investment in equipment and dimensional precision of the molded part) with minimal production costs. Using conventional machines, it is possible to achieve a production cost per part similar to that obtained with Babyplast, but with multi-cavity molds, therefore requiring higher investments.

  • Precision of the pieces produced

Especially in the technical sector, products require maximum dimensional precision, which can only be achieved with small-cavity molds, including those made of easily degradable thermoplastic materials. In these cases, Babyplast offers a precision mold with a small number of cavities, low tooling and production costs, and a machine that, in addition to excellent repeatability, holds only a few cubic centimeters of material in the cylinder, thus minimizing the time the plastic remains at the transformation temperature and thus the risk of degradation.

  • Flexibility in automatic lines

Thanks to its small size, Babyplast 6/12V can be easily placed in automatic production lines, simplifying its design.
Ex: In 1 linear meter it is possible to install up to 2 Babyplast 6/12V to be able to print two different materials or colors in sequence.

  • A Euromap 67 interface is available

  • Low-cost sampling and pre-series

With a small investment, it's possible to build a Baby mold for new products, allowing them to be brought to market at a competitive cost. If demand exceeds the mold's production capacity, you can consider building a conventional multi-cavity mold or splitting production across multiple Baby molds.

  • Material savings

The workpiece/sprue ratio is better than conventional machines.

  • Special applications at reduced costs

To better meet different needs, the machine is available with two different injection groups, 6/12V max 15cc and 6/12VM max 36cc (only for low viscosity materials).
